Picturesque Figures from the
Austro-Hungarian Empire

Wonderful original 1813 hand-colored aquatint engraving from William Alexander's "Picturesque representations of the dress and manners of the Austrians" published by Howlett and Brimmer in London.

The print is nicely matted and ready to frame.

There is a handwritten annoation in German at the bottom which is difficult to read. It appears to read: "Flipiner Bauer a.d. Kowina"

Dimensions: Around 16 X 12 cm ( 5 X 6.5 inches)

Condition: Very good. Light browing around the edges. Slightly rough edges. Enlarge photos for full details.
