The Kilchberg-Schooren Faience and Porcelain factory on Lake Zurich was in operation in the 18th and 19th century. The factory made Porcelain only during the late 18th century, and then focused on faience.

 

During the Biedermeier period, the factory was famous for plates like this one featuring expressions, well wishes, and amusing sayings.
