Heinrich Würgler

The Bernese painter, artist and illustrator Heinrich Wuegler is known for his woodblock prints and murals. He is listed in the Biographic Dictionary of Swiss Artists.

 

Two skiers pause to admire the view and adjust their skis at the top of the alps. They look as thought they are wearing randonnee style skis, but it is not clear.

 

Signed H. Wuergler and dated 1933.
