Eugen Henziross

(Swiss, 1877 - 1961)

Eugen Henziross was born in Niederbuchsiten near Solothurn and died in Bern. He was a painter, art instructor, and designer of posters.

Henziross is listed in the leading art dictionary the Benezit as well as numerous other works.

We find Henziross's work very evocative of Thomas Hart Benton and the American regionalists.

This beautiful original watercolor also has a very Art Deco feeling to it.
