Cereus varibilia

Original late 18th or early 19th century watercolor of the flowering cactus Cereus varibilia.

We believe that this work may be from the hand of Dr. Ludwig Pfeiffer.

See additional cactus illustrations from the same series.

Dimensions: 34 X 28 cm

Condition: Paper has light age toning and some tape marks on the very edge of the right hand side. The appearance is brighter and crisper than in this scan which makes the paper looked more mottled than it is.
