Dieter Ineichen

Fasnacht I"

Based on the signature (see last image below), we believe this is the work of the Lucerne artist Dieter Ineichen, born in 1952.

A wonderful engraving in the best tradition of the Swiss fantastic, following in the footsteps of the symbolist Albert Welti, Fritz Eggimann, or Fritz Pauli.

A group of carnival revelers at the Basel Carnival (Fasnacht) are accompanied by a phantasmagoria of dragons, owls, demons and strange beasts which fly through the sky like confetti!

Numbered 12/60

Dimensions: Approx 38 X 48 cm
