Beatrix Schaeren was born in 1940 in Schleithein, Switzerland, and lives and works in Feuerthalen, Switerland und Canova/Oira Italy.

 

She studied at the Zurich School of Textiles under the Bauhaus master Johannes Itten. She has exhibited widely in Germany, the United States, Brazil and Japan.
