19th Century Ink and watercolor drawing of two chamois on a crest with the Wetterhorn in the background. The Wetterhorn is a famous peak in the Swiss alps near Grindelwald.

 

Signed "A Beaumont 80" upper left and annotated "Lever de soleil sur le Wetterhorn" lower right.

 

Possibly the work of the Swiss landscape painter Auguste Bouthillier de BEAUMONT (1842-1889).

 

Dimensions: 22 X 29 cm

 

Condition: Light age toning of sheet
