Large format black and white lithograph. Port scene with fishermen and their catch.

 

The Swiss artist Adrien Holy was born in 1898 in St-Imier (Bern) and died 1978 in Geneva. A good deal of his career was spent in Paris, but he exhibited regularly in Geneva, including at the Athenee and Musee Rath.

 

 

Dimensions: 37.5 X 57 (image size)

 

Condition: The margins of this sheet are quite damaged - paper wrinkled and with foxing in the lower right hand corner. Properly mounted it will still show off beautifully.
