Calendar Fondation Ida 2012

The stones illustrated in this calendar were painted by Katia. In the months before she lost her five-year fight against cancer, Katia, a beautiful young woman, spent many happy hours painting the stones for children in the hospital.

Today, during every creative workshop organized by Fondation Ida at the University Hospital in Lausanne (CHUV), children can choose one of these ”magic stones”. They symbolize the courage, hope and generosity that Katia wanted to share with them.

The calendar has been signed personally by a well known oncologist in Switzerland and the minister of Education and Research in Sweden. Proceeds from the sale of this calendar will help us continue to organize creative activities for children with cancer during the coming year.
