Autumn Workshop 8 October 2011
For the autumn workshop we had prepared two crafts, suitable for different ages. The first was made for the younger children since it implied colouring a game board and decorating it with stickers. Then the children could move around magnetic ducks or cars with the help of an magnet placed under the board. For the adolescents we had prepared a magnetic board to paint and decorate.
It was a warm and entertaining moment with the children, all of whom created their crafts in a very distictive manner, at times assisted by their family.
Using red, blue, green and orange, we tried to put some colour in the creations. We accompanied these endeavors with songs and stories for the younger children, and some adolescents were delighted to find a volunteer with who they could talk soccer and other hobbies.
Our "magic stones" painted by our volunteer Jenny, have as much success as always and they are more beautiful and more inventive at each workshop. Moreover, the children have more and more difficulty choosing their "lucky charm stone."
Thanks to our team of volunteers, this time Maud, Jen, Alberto, Tamara, Claudia and Delphine !
