Summer workshop 21 May 2011

With lots of enthusiasm we went to the CHUV on May 21, looking forward to meet new children. The days before, we had prepared books of five pages with wooden covers. We also brought pens of all colours, decorations to glue, stickers, ribbons, pearls etc.

With the children we then invented little stories that we wrote, decorated and illustrated together in the books.
Some children could come to the playroom for the workshop, and for the others we went into their rooms. At the end of the afternoon the followoing stories had been created by the children:

« The dirty fish »
« Vacation of the elves »
« The squirrel has lost his mother »
«  Lilou don´t want to go to bed »

…and many more.

It was with great pleasure that the volunteers helped the children to develop their stories. During the workshop each child could also chose a « magic stone », painted by our volunteer Jenny. Each stone was accompanied by a beautiful poem.
